  1. Intake Video Submission – As part of your onboarding, you may be required to submit an intake video. Please allow up to 24 hours for our team to review your video and process your prescription with the pharmacy.
  2. Weekend Order Processing – While we do place orders on Saturdays and Sundays, pharmacies will not begin processing prescriptions until Monday.
  3. Commitment to Quality Care – We know you're eager to start your journey, and we are just as excited! However, following proper protocols ensures you receive the highest level of care and safety throughout the process.

  1. Estimated Delivery Time – The estimated delivery timeframe provided in our texts/emails is based on information from the pharmacy.
  2. Shipping Timeline Expectations – We do not have advanced knowledge beyond the estimated timeframe given. If the lead time states "3-6 business days," this is the range currently expected. While we always aim for the shorter timeframe, delays beyond six business days may occasionally occur.
  3. Business Days Defined – Business days are Monday through Friday and do not include weekends or holidays.
  4. Compounded Medication Process – Unlike standard pharmacies that stock medications, compounding pharmacies prepare medications from scratch for each patient. This process follows strict protocols, which may extend fulfillment times.
  5. Friday Shipping Delays – Many compounding pharmacies do not ship on Fridays. If your tracking number is generated on a Friday, your package may not be shipped until the following Monday.
  6. Tracking Number Notification – When your tracking number is created, you will receive an email from both the pharmacy and our team. However, a generated tracking number does not mean your order has shipped yet. For example, if your tracking number is created late Friday, shipping may not occur until Monday.

It’s important to read your prescription correctly to ensure proper dosing. The strength listed on your script is NOT your dosage—it simply indicates the concentration of the medication. Below is a breakdown to help you interpret your prescription accurately.

Each script and dosing plan may vary, so please review your specific instructions carefully.

🔹 Understanding Strength vs. Dosage

  • The first number on your script represents the amount of tirzepatide per mL.
  • Example: 8mg/mL in a 2.5mL vial = 20mg of tirzepatide total.
  • Your dosage refers to how much you are instructed to take per injection, not the total vial strength.

🔹 For Empower Patients:

  • Starting dose: 2.5mg per week for FOUR weeks, followed by 5.0mg per week for TWO weeks.
  • 5mg dose: 5.0mg per week for FOUR weeks, and so on.

🔹 For Hallandale Patients:

  • Starting dose: 1mL vial = 0.25mL (25 units on the syringe) per week for FOUR weeks.
  • 5mg dose: 2mL vial = 0.50mL (50 units on the syringe) per week for FOUR weeks, and so on.

We understand that circumstances change, and we want to make the cancellation process as smooth as possible. Simply text or email the support number or email we've been communicating with, and we’ll process your request—usually the same day.

No long-term commitments. You can cancel anytime.

However, please note:

  • If we’ve processed your intake and placed your script with the pharmacy, a doctor’s and processing fee of $107 will apply.
  • If we’ve processed your intake but have NOT sent your order to the pharmacy, a $10 processing fee will be charged.

Because ILM weight is designed as a subscription-based program—not a per-vial service—we discourage frequent pauses or single-vial orders. While we do allow for a one-time pause, beyond that, we may suggest alternative providers better suited to your needs.

As summer approaches, it’s completely normal for your package to feel warm upon arrival, especially if there was a shipping delay. Rest assured, your medication is still safe and effective.

 Here's why you don’t need to worry:

  • The pharmacy has conducted extensive temperature stability studies to ensure the medication remains potent.
  • Tirzepatide remains stable for up to 7 days at temperatures as high as 40°C (104°F) and can be safely stored at room temperature for up to 30 days.
  • To maximize shelf life, the pharmacy still ships the product cold, so simply place it in the refrigerator upon arrival, and you're all set!

✔ Your medication maintains full efficacy for up to 90 days after the vial has been punctured.
✔ Check the BUD (Best Use by Date) on your vial for guidance on how long an unopened vial remains effective.

Your health and safety are our top priorities—if you have any concerns, we’re always here to help! 


If your vial looks less full than expected, don’t worry—this is completely normal! For most patients, the prescribed dose only fills a small portion of the vial. For example, new 2.5mg patients will receive medication that reaches approximately the 1mL mark on the vial, as shown in the reference photo.

💡 Common Reasons for Perceived Shortages:
✔ The last bit of medication can sometimes be difficult to extract.
✔ Losing track of the number of injections (usually four per vial).
✔ Extracting slightly more medication per injection than prescribed.


At ILM weight we take quality and accuracy very seriously. Our pharmacy partners, like Hallandale, operate within a state-of-the-art, 503a sterile compounding facility in Florida, spanning 60,000 square feet and staffed by over 600 professionals, including biologists and pharmacists.


Each vial undergoes a rigorous multi-step process, precise measurement, and final visual inspection before being certified for shipment. It’s extremely unlikely that a vial would be shipped with an incorrect amount of medication.


If you truly believe your vial contains the wrong amount, please reach out to the pharmacy directly. They can review your batch records and confirm your order details.

Below, you’ll find clear and simple instructions for self-injecting your Tirzepatide—but remember, you are never alone in this process. Let’s say it again: It’s completely normal to feel anxious about self-injections. Almost everyone feels that way in the beginning! But once you take that first step, you’ll gain confidence with each injection, and soon, it will feel like second nature.

Here’s what to keep in mind:
✔ Everyone feels a little nervous at first.
✔ Each injection builds confidence—it gets easier every time!
✔ We’re here to guide you with the best techniques and tools to make it as simple as possible.


Your prescription includes clear instructions on how much Tirzepatide to inject each week. While you may receive the same vial every four weeks, the amount you inject will gradually increase as you move through the program. For example, you may start at 0.25mL and later increase to 0.50mL as your dosage progresses.


  1. Wash Your Hands – Clean hands help prevent infection.
  2. Clean the Injection Site – Use an alcohol swab to clean the area and let it air dry.
  3. Choose Your Injection Site – Inject subcutaneously (under the skin) in your abdomen, thighs, or upper arms.
  4. Pinch the Skin – Gently pinch a 1-2 inch fold of skin between your thumb and forefinger to ensure the injection goes into fatty tissue, not muscle.
  5. Inject With Confidence – Insert the needle quickly but smoothly. There’s no need to go too slowly—one helpful technique is to inhale before inserting the needle and exhale as you inject. This helps your body stay relaxed.
  6. Dispose Safely – Remove the needle, recap the syringe, and dispose of it safely. Many people use a plastic bottle to collect capped syringes before discarding them properly.

💡 Pro Tip: If you’re feeling unsure, you can ask a friend or loved one to help with your first injection or simply be there for support. You’ve got this!


🚨 Important: Rotate injection sites each week—if using your thighs, switch from left to right and choose different areas to inject.
